Our performance at a glance

by | 4th February 2019 | News

Livewell Southwest constantly monitors the services it provides to ensure we are delivering the right care and support to people, at the right time, and in the right place.

We have used this information to produce a simple snapshot of our performance which is updated each month.

It is themed on the five key questions asked by the Care Quality Commission, which regulates health and social care providers like Livewell and inspects us to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.

The five questions are:

Are services safe?
Safe: you are protected from abuse and avoidable harm.

Are services effective?
Effective: your care, treatment and support achieves good outcomes, helps you to maintain quality of life and is based on the best available evidence.

Are they caring?
Caring: staff involve and treat you with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.

Are they responsive to people’s needs?
Responsive: services are organised so that they meet your needs.

Are they well-led?
Well-led: the leadership, management and governance of the organisation make sure it’s providing high-quality care that’s based around your individual needs, that it encourages learning and innovation, and that it promotes an open and fair culture.

Our most recent inspection was May 2018 when inspectors found that Livewell Southwest was Good overall and Outstanding for Caring. You can see the full report on our website here.
